My practice involves writing, image making, both visual & sonic, and collaborative activities.
Through this practice I attempt to make responses to actual environments & situations while allowing these responses to echo off into imagined places, weaving narratives & thoughts, often through a kind of poetry, in an effort to explore time, space & experience, systems & technologies.
I attempt to build meaningful connections between things, to identify significant dissonnances or resonances between the actual and the imaginary, truths, fictions & metafictions between people, environments & (hidden) histories of place, in a way that will engage my audience and bring them into the work in a deeper way.
My writings & installations draw connections between my own day-to-day casual & subjective experiences and thought processes, artistic & scientific developments, histories, & discourses, and pedagogical practices & methodologies.
My most current work involves exploring the voice & language, and the articulation & development of specific characters through writing & installation.
